The JMRC

The JMRC stands for Jumbo Multiversal Remote Control, and is one of the most important parts of Whinot Toonish’s storyline.

Early History

The first permanent illustrated depiction of Whinots Remote was New Years 2023, as apart of a group collaboration illustration on the official Whinot Productions Instagram. That said, it had been apart of his story for many years before then, and even been shown and teased many times on its 24 hour story.

The original JMRC was modeled after an existing remote by the brand ‘PrimeTrendz’, called the Jumbo Universal Remote. Adam Ashlock had seen the remote and used it as a prop in a community theater performance years earlier, and never forgot it. Years later, he would sit down to create one of the first drafts of Whinot Toonish’s story, and resolved to give him a multiversal traveling device modeled after the same remote.

Story & Significance

The JMRC was one of the very first physical elements to be created within the confines of UC-0. While Whinot Toonish is fully capable of controlling all aspects and elements within his own universe, the remote uses the Descartic Principle of Comedy to control elements beyond Whinots typical grasp, such as beings, plot, self referential, etc. It is capable of these feats by utilizing a users natural Toonforce, should it be high enough within said subject.

Should the remote come into powerful enough hands, one could use it to commit unfathomable acts under the laws of Toonforce.
