While looking through the landfill that was my first main google drive, I came across a series of writings from my early college days and creative work, which I had long sense forgotten.
This is one of those writings.
The following is a script writing exercise to tell a story using only 12 lines of dialogue, 4 words maximum for each.

INT. APARTMENT LIVING-ROOM - DAY
JON, a 22 year old male, and TOM, a 22 year old male, relax in their living room, discussing their missing dog Spark
JON
Hey where’s Spark?
Tom lays on the couch, staring at the television, not making eye contact with Jon
TOM
I walked him yesterday
JON
Well, where’s he now?
TOM
Probably Spooner Street still
Jon looks at Tom, a brow raised
JON
What’s he doing there?!
TOM
Honestly, not much.
Jon raises his voice and his brows furrow a bit
JON
Tom, Why’s he there.
TOM
He wanted to run
JON
So he ran away?
TOM
Only eight feet away
Jon throws his hands up, flabbergasted by Toms answer, and by his calm demeanor
JON
You didn’t follow him?!
TOM
SUV got him first
